The Causes We Support
We believe that hospitality can generate a positive impact across different dimensions of society. That is why we focus our work on four pillars that reflect the causes we support and the way we build community with our allies.
Rural Development and Producers
We work with rural communities to improve their quality of life, promote sustainable agriculture, and protect their territories.
Our main ally is ASOCOMAN, a peasant organization from Montes de María made up of 23 associates who, together with their families, represent nearly 200 people. We support projects that strengthen community development, protect their environment, and generate new opportunities.
Education, Art, and Culture
We believe in art as a tool to open opportunities, strengthen communities, and support the development of children and young people.
We work with Colectivo Canta, a foundation that provides musical training to over 100 children and young people from the Nelson Mandela neighborhood and its surroundings, using music as a path to build confidence, discipline, creativity, and hope.
Hospitality Training
Hospitality is the heart of Alquímico, and we believe it can also become a tool for social transformation.
Through the Hospitality School, we seek to share knowledge, develop skills, and create opportunities for people facing greater barriers to accessing training and employment opportunities, promoting a more human, conscious, and inclusive hospitality.
Sustainability and Territory
We understand that caring for people also means caring for the environment we share.
We promote initiatives focused on the conservation and regeneration of ecosystems, including the reforestation of native trees, the recovery and conservation of seeds, the development of gardens, the use of organic waste through composting, and the transformation of the bar’s glass into sand to give new life to a material that would normally end up as waste.
